Along side her husband Steve, Michelle has been learning the skills to get her Miss Betty back on the road. She enjoys learning and doing the work on her own car and sharing the story of how she came to adopting Miss Betty. The car will be going back to as original as able, including being repainted to factory color per the trim tag.
Escorting Miss Betty to her new home, June 2016, from the deep southern area of Louisiana. This was the start of trying to win her trust that she will one day be on the road under her own power. Between an alternator gone dead in the truck, to trailer wheel moments from catching fire far from home, she's come a long way in allowing the work to be done on her. And did she need A LOT of work. If she does not fight her transformation any more, she should be on the road next year!
Jolene is a 1930 Model A 2 door sedan with a 1929 chassis . Jolene is a survivor of the SoCal Thomas fire. The roof was originally a canvas top but is being replaced with a metal roof from a 1996 Suburban.
The current plan for Jolene is to be painted a satin black, chopped roof rat rod. Jolene will be built by Lindalee with her husband's assistance, but Jolene is Lindalee's pride and joy.
